Kavi Ram was born in Chennai, India. Following the crowd, Kavi Ram decided to pursue a degree in engineering, followed by a brief stint in the IT industry. However, she had a passion for literature and writing from an early age.
Following the birth of her second child in 2020, she had many a sleepless night – taking care of a newborn and the pandemic situation. On one such night, after a long discussion with her husband, a new idea was born – writing stories and retelling tales for children.
A voracious reader, Kavi Ram has been particularly fascinated by Mythological tales as a child. Hoping to share her love for stories, she started her website called mythsforkidz, in which she began writing stories from various Mythologies, Fairy Tales and Folk Tales.
Kavi Ram has published two books on Amazon Kindle. Her first book ‘A journey through World Mythology’ is a collection of interesting mythological stories from across the globe. Her second book is a picture book with stories from the ‘Arabian Nights’.
