Aesop’s Fables

Aesop was a slave and storyteller who is believed to have lived in ancient Greece between 620 and 564 BCE. A Fable refers to a short fictional story with lead characters as animals, trees, nature that are given human traits and emotions (Anthropomorphism).

The stories always have a “Moral” attached to them. These fables have been a part of stories told to most children growing up. Each of the story has been adapted and retold by grandparents and parents in their own language with their own tweaks.
